"I'm gonna jerk a knot in you" - where on earth did that come from. A total new one on me but I want to use it all the time now!
I absolutely hate it when I say 'because I said so' so why oh why does it always come out of my mouth?
"I'm gonna jerk a knot in you" is a generational thing for us. My grandmother told it to my mom, my mom told it to me, and I swore I'd never say it to my kids. I think I've said it once, maybe twice on a really bad day.
Goes along with "I'm gonna tan your hide," which I have successfully (so far) NOT said to my kids.
I'm with you on "because I said so." I hate that I say it, but I do.
Oh cool! I like those two lists.
I'm afraid my 2 lists are.. nevermind. Let's just say I don't dare! :)
