That's a smart little shopper you have there! We're trying to teach that kind of thing to Monkey, too, with the money she earns. I think it's working because when she's shopping, she takes forever to get what she wants and then sometimes decides to wait until she's earned more money.Kool Aidhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07996795376325872637noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-745355119011902835.post-42155747838865041242008-10-04T22:42:00.000-04:002008-10-04T22:42:00.000-04:00What is it about getting a good deal that brings s...What is it about getting a good deal that brings such joy? I love a good deal! I've never sat down and discussed buying things on sale with my kids. However, I noticed that they picked it up simply from observation. When my daughter was 7-years-old she was given a $50 gift certificate to Limited Too. I thought for sure she would buy one very cute pair of jeans. Instead, she searched the store for deals and ended up with something like 4 shirts and 2 pairs of pants. Oh boy ... they are definitely watching us and learning!Kathy Slattengrenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16252019752450372211noreply@blogger.com
